I only found the game to be laggy on Sunday night, when everyone and their brother was probably playing and whenever I loaded into town for the first time my character would not appear.

The 1st 2 days on the last beta weekend I had no problems. After the patching on the 3rd day I was experience rubberbanding and loads of lag. Even after restarting and closing down every program no needed to run windows which I haven't had to do before. This occured in every area not just town.

Have to say the event was a ton of fun and also incredibly frustrating also. The inventory system and ID ,salvage was a serious pain played almost the whole weekend and found zero items that I used for any of the 4 chars I made.Game ran really well and while in missions with friends was a ton of fun but outside of that I found just about every glitch and bug. Prince Rurik in the party he has to pause when someone died and no one in party had rez so we never finished that on after 8 tries. No one in my group got the free rez signet of course. Wasnt obvious that you would be stuck with one class after the academy. Finally finding someone that sold a bag for 100gp ? geezus that was way more then i made all weekend. of course out of the say several 100 items i left on ground might have been something good but too much trouble to deal with.At the end of it all I had 82gp on my 9th lvl warrior/ranger . Saw some lag but it was intermittent and usually in town with 200 ppl dancing(never seen so much pointless emoting BTW) But all in all was good clean fun for the most part dont want to go out on a sour note but it is a beta event and things should be expected to pop up.The 5 hours i spent looking for a trainer to get a second class in old ascalon was a ton of fun I ran all across the world and found many interesting places.Cant wait for next event !

Default Lag of game

Last week was my first time with GW, and where I did find a few times of "rubber banding" for the most part it was very smooth. I was not sure what may have been causing the R-B, but it was not a problem. I am looking forward to the release date as well as the next BWE.

I unlock stuff identifying blues all the time. Same with purples. In fact, just one precious or high salvage can make up the difference in a whopping 5 gold it costs to ID something.

No reason not to ID everything, unless you are specifically selling something, after you already unlock everything, to people for a chance to unlock it themselves.

You may want to read the date on that post, it is from a very long time ago.

The suggestion no longer works.
